Will it work on my PC?

Minimum: Windows 11 x64, a modern 4-core AVX2 CPU, 16 GB RAM and 15 GB free SSD space, plus room for previews.

Recommended for large archives: 32 GB RAM and a compatible NVIDIA GPU with 8 GB or more VRAM. Footage can stay on internal drives, USB storage or a NAS.

Setup downloads about 4 GB of AI models. Analysis then runs locally. Browsing a completed catalogue does not require the AI model to be running.

What stays on my computer?

Your footage, catalogue and local AI analysis. FootageFerret reads the source files and stores descriptions and previews separately.

What does a licence include?

The Free version handles up to 1,000 video clips. A full licence removes that limit and includes two years of updates. Your installed version keeps working after the update period.
